Garbage Recycling

The RM cost shares both a garbage disposal bin and a recycle bin wit hthe RM of Walpole and the Town of Wawota. There is no cost to dispose of appropriate materials in the blue recycle bin, however ther eis a cost for all garbage being disposed of in the large red bins or in the metal pile. TRhese costs are determined by the Gate Attendant and the Town of Wawota. Only residents of the RM will be allowed to dispose of thier waste in these bins. If you see or know of anyone illiegally dumpingt call the TIP line at 1-800-667-7561 or #5555 from your cell.

Ag Plastics

The collection site is located 1/4 mile south of Wawota on Grid 603 on the west side of the road (old Wawota air strip). The following Ag plastics are accepted: grain bags and silage bags which must be must be rolled tightly and secured with twine. Net wrap and twine is NOT accepted. The grain bag roller is also located on site which is open 7 days a week. Please contact Lower Souris Watershed at 306-485-8408 to arrange for use of the roller and CleanFarms recycling bags.
