Gravel

Crushed gravel is available to ratepayers of the Municipality to a maximum of 50 yards per tax title. Having multiple names on a single title does not grant additional yards of gravel. Gravel is available to ratepayers only when the Municipality has a gravel hauling contractor hired to do gravelling for the Municipality – gravel is not available at any other time of the year. The cost of loading and hauling is forwarded to on to the ratepayer based on the tendered rates provided by the gravel hauling contractor.

Ratepayers wanting gravel for their private use are to call the Municipal Office to order. A detailed list of land locations and instructions are then given to the gravel hauling contractor for delivery.

No person is allowed to take crushed gravel from the Municipality’s stockpiles.
