Civic Address

Municipal employees will be out over the coming days installing new civic address signs throughout the Municipality.

Civic address signs help identify rural properties quickly and accurately, allowing emergency responders, service providers, delivery companies, and visitors to locate your property with ease. In an emergency, clearly visible civic address signs can save valuable time by directing fire, ambulance, and police services to the correct property entrance. Unlike a legal land description, a civic address identifies the exact location of your residence or business.

Property owners are responsible for ensuring their civic address sign remains visible, legible, and free from obstructions such as snow or vegetation. If your sign is damaged, missing, or difficult to read, please contact the RM of Wawken office to arrange for a replacement.
